WiP - dealines

Today it'll be all about deadlines and having too much on plate. I put it on my designer's wall to see it all in one place. Isn't cool how much you can fit on a piece of batting :-) If I flip the whole thing over there is one more project hidden on the "back" side.

Plus I promised to make hardware handle upgrade tutorial so I precut for another pouch to take more pictures. Let's place some deadlines on these projects. Tutorial: Saturday 24th (wishful thinking)

Echino bag is my ALYoF goal for May. Dealine: May 31st
You can read little interview with me over @ SewBitterSweet designs as part of May participant feature.

Strip-easy quilt challenge - log cabins in my case. I didn't share the size of those but these are made up from 1" strips. Deadline: May 28th

Jaybirds quilt along - mini disco in rainbow colors. I would like to submit finished top. Deadline: June 13th

Broken Herringbone block - pillow cover to become. Possibly a project for Ho Ho Ho and We Sew party. Link your project HERE. Deadline: May 31st

Ballerina quilt - quilt for my daughter. Deadline: August

I do like deadlines. They keep me motivated but not sure how many I'm able to meet this time around.
I added links so you can join in if you like.

  2. Adding deadlines is a great motivator, but don't get too overwhelmed. Just concentrate on one thing at a time. You can do this, girlfriend! Looking forward to your tutorial!

  4. LOVE the Hello Kitty fabric!!! Good for you setting deadlines for yourself! I've got a huge list myself of things to do, but I haven't dared start setting deadlines yet. Lol.
