Piggy and July round up

I squeezed in some Christmas sewing. The kids are getting piggy bank pouches. I linked those up for Ho Ho Ho and On We Sew blog hop. Let's do something in August as well.

Few days ago I saw felt piggy bank tutorial over at Sew Can She and I couldn't get it out of my head. I just had to make them. I enlarged the pattern using Word and since my printer is not working, I copied right from the screen. Here is pic to show you the size. Pattern is placed on standard size copy paper. The zippers are 10cm long.

It is really an easy and quick project so what are you waiting for? Make one yourself.

Is July worth to do round up?
It went really fast and besides having fun on trampoline I managed to finish 2 things from my Q3 list. There is space for improvement, lol.

Demons pin board.
Ikea ZOO quilt.
I'm linking up with
Fresh Sewing Day

Plus have you heard about new Friday linky party? If you into paper piecing check it out.

  18. I saw those piggies too! I liked the suggestion of having them in your handbag to collect the spare coins. But I'm not sure if that would help me since I can never find anything in my bag (too many receipts and junk lol).

  20. Those pigs are seriously cute! And very impressed that you've started some Christmas sewing already. I need to try and get to that. Your 2 finishes look great as well, and what a gorgeous back drop for that zoo quilt.
