May goal

My goal for May is to DO EPIC SHIT! Muhahaha, doesn't that sound epic enough?

Last couple of weeks have been pretty rough and silly jokes might be the way to deal with it. While browsing through the web I stumbled upon the above pic and it feels like exactly what I need to do.

Besides that I would like to piece this top. I need to do at least 4 more blocks, add some eyes and make it the right size. That's it. I'll keep you posted.

  4. Silly jokes are sometimes the only way to deal with Epic [bull]Shit.
Your batik animals and flowers look like they are going to make a loverly quilt.

  5. Those quilt blocks are epic gorgeous so adding more would be ... epic gorgeous (squared) :) Sorry you've been having problems - I hope things are getting better, and that you get to do epic shit! Is it wrong that I've been saying that out loud since I read your blog post? Hubby barbequed burgers and sausages for supper and I told him they were Epic Shit! DS2 asked me if there were any banana muffins left and I told him to look for Epic Shit in the container on top of the toaster oven. Epic Shit indeed!

  11. I think a goal of doing epic shit is perfect. Epic enough to be awesome; vague enough to permit much creativity in interpretation. That's my goal for this month too, although mine most likely will consist of giving birth. I'm tempted to make that my ALYoF goal, but if this baby is as stubborn as my last, he may not make an appearance until June. Do epic waiting might be a more appropriate goal for me. I hope you have a smooth time with your epic shit!!

  13. Adorable!!! Rough times are awful, and you are brave to blog about it and keep on creating. Love me some epic shit. I feel like a baby for being afraid to say that on my blog. If you can, so can I. Why not, I talk that way when the need arises. Can't wait to see your finish, and I hope you alwo get picked for a prize. Best of sewing to you.
