Goal achieved

Did you know my middle name is Procrastination? I did not work on any other projects but I was doing many little things just to avoid this beast. I pieced the two rows yesterday and finished today. Hurray!

This finally makes my May/June/July goal of ALYoF complete. The fence makes pretty quilting pattern don't you think?

And the sun is going down :)

The birds are still my favorite.

I also like the flowers. Especially the orange one.

Not all the points are perfect. Look at that blue tulip which is missing some points, oops.

I have the batting ready and the B side as well so I need to move on into quilting stage which usually takes even longer than piecing.

And that's the end of story :) The full moon took over the sun and since it's Friday I'm linking up with Finish it up and more.

  5. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah the gorgeous colours and the fun blocks - this project is a parade of cute :) I'm looking forward to seeing what you do to finish it - how big is the flimsy? I have decided that the birds are my favourite blocks - especially their legs, lol!

  8. It's awesome! You have the absolute best sense of color! If I harass you, will you get it quilted sooner? Because, I totally will sign up for that task ;) Seriously, cannot wait to see this quilted and yes, that fence would make a seriously awesome quilting design! You can do it! :D

So is the picture the moon rising or the sun setting? The full moon was so bright here I really couldn't tell the difference!

  9. I love this. I need someone in my family or friends to have a baby so I can make it for them. I agree with the silhouette of the fencing. It would make a great quilting pattern. At first I thought it was where you had already marked the quilt for quilting

My middle name is Patricia, which has many of the same letters as procrastination and also starts with P. It is the journey as much as the destination, right?
