Scrappy Sunday

Isn't scrappy better than crappy? :) I'm still in scrappy mood. You see there is pile of batiks which I used for Elephant parade and other projects plus a pile of scraps from DM quilt. There is also ironing board with some triangle play on the left side and a peak of my of my Le Challenge project.

Here we go. Triangle arrangements.

I'm keeping those two strips at the top. I have already pieced those.

But I'm not completely sold on the triangle idea.

I actually have a completely different one by now :)

  1. Your scrap piles are so tidy and organized! I would probably have threads hanging out of the edges and everywhere in photos like that. :) I really love getting to see progress shots as people "play" with their arrangements - it is so fun to see how the design evolves.

  6. Vera, this is very cute. scrappy is my favorite too. Use all of your fabrics together.
Scrappy is always better than crappy. When is crappy good? never

I have a friend that used to live in Korea (military family) and they said that people there always wear clothes that do not match. The rule is, if it is pretty, you wear it with something else that is pretty. So if they are both pretty, they go together. hahaha funny, and so different than much of the rest of the world, where we like some matching and "order" or blend.
If you look at some photos on Google you can see many examples hahaha
I like this little project and I know it will turn out cute.

  7. I love the brightness of these colours so they are going to be gorgeous no matter what - tumbling blocks do look like fun!
