Q2 - DM quilt

Finally I'm sharing finished DM quilt in full. You can find it on my Q2 FAL list here.

I always wanted to do some reflection pics with my quilt so we took it outside.

Thumb up for my quilt holder aka hubby :)

I made this quilt top during Delectable Mountains Blog hop back in 2015. I have added subtle border around the top to prevent loosing some points in binding.

It is partially hand quilted and machine quilted with zig zag stitch. The back is very snuggly and you can read about it here.

Not the best picture of quilt but I had to share it anyway.

Grey + colors in order = my fav combo.

Linking up with finish it up Friday:

  7. Vera, this quilt is beautiful. I got a little nervous seeing it hanging over the bridge. I love the reflections.
Your hubby is a very good helper. I know you gave him a cookie for his efforts.

  17. Such beautiful scenery. I love the distance shots. They might not be the best of the quilt, but they show the pattern differently. The quilt really seems to glow or radiate outwards from the light grey and yellow centre.
