I would never have thought of floorboards, and that works perfectly for the theme. I tried sewing a scrap of leather this morning - very very thin leather - I wanted to use it for a nose on a project. A regular size 14 needle didn't work so I tried a leather needle, and it didn't work very well either! I ended up with some little tucks and dents on the nose - it's for a kids' pillow so it doesn't matter, but I need to find out how to sew that stuff nicely! My sewy friend up the street gave me a little bag of leather scraps (from her Auntie Rita - HI AUNTIE RITA!) and I'd love to be able to add them to bags!Sandra :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16239494415344028806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5626700997300014982.post-82476998656464712012015-05-17T20:11:09.134+02:002015-05-17T20:11:09.134+02:00Floor boards was a clever interpretation.
