When possible I like to make sets. Matching pillow case for quilt or pouch for a bag. Sometimes it takes time. I finally picked up leftovers from my
Diamond Tread and made this pillow case. When I was cutting the HSTs for quilt I made some more just in case. I usually just use WoF and end up with having too much. For this pillow case I didn't have to make a single one. I had those already and they fit just right. None of them left. How lucky am I?

Some time ago I made a bag for my friend. I ended up the zipper with snap hook there for some key rings on pouch with vinyl front and tissue holder/cover.

ReplyDeleteWow! Congrats and Congrats! Both projects are very pretty. I really love that little pillow though. What a sweet way to use up the extras. And adding the snap hook to the end of the zipper.... Brilliant! Two jobs well done!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Both projects are fantastic. I love the matching accessories and the pillow is perfectly matched.
ReplyDeleteGreat sets! Does the dinosaur come with it as well? :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea making the pillowcase with the leftover blocks - it's the perfect addition! Love the bags too - I hate to tell you this, but there's a dinosaur in your bag. LOLOL!! Did you use a specific pattern or tutorial for that vinyl bag (last picture)? It looks like there are no raw edges on it - the vinyl and the topstitching, are perfect!
ReplyDeleteOooh, lovely! I hadn't thought to match a pillowcase with a quilt...that's so much fun! :)
