OMG finish
It's been a while since I completed OMG goal. This month I choosed pouch with green accent plus some jewellery to go with.
Those HSTs ended up a little too big for loo pouch so I'll be making larger pouch out of it later on.
Last night I put my headphones on and matchstick quilted those two pieces. I must do that more often since it turns my brain off completely. Brainless theraphy :)
I filled up the jewellery plastic tube with beads and I'm waiting for the glue to dry. I won't show you how it looks on neck since it is still little unstable.
I have two sizes of that plastic tube. I used the smaller one for bracelet.
So I have completed my goal and made pouch with green accent but it is maybe too simple. I hope the other one will make up for it.
Here is pic with the first loo pouch I made.
And one more detailed shot because we all love matchstick quilting right :)
I consider July to be a good month. It went by quickly as the others but I managed to blog more, sew more ... We went on family vacation to Hungary and it was a success. Biffy Clyro has new album out and I have been listening to it a lot. The only thing that bothers me is some health issue but I'll talk about that some other time ... Stay well!

Inspired by ...
Two weeks ago I have started these two projects. I couldn't help it. I'm not much involved in linky parties lately but I like to get involved in #saturdaynightcraftalong
The plus project was inspired by Paige @quiltedblooms and her Positively transparent mini. I love her color choice but in order to make it my own I turned to primary colors.
I had no particular plan I just needed to get it out of my head. It looks a lot like cushion to me :) but who knows.
This heart was inspired by Jayne @twiggyandopal and her lovely minis. I have adjusted the pattern a bit but I have kept her color placement :)
Work in progress.
Row by row. My plan is to use it as front panel for simple tote.
Our concrete makes the perfect background. I love it.
Both projects were perfect for my leftovers and scraps from the previous one and I'll keep on using them until I ran out completele :) You've been warned :)
While cutting the fabrics smaller pieces ended up as 1.5" squares. Their time will come ...

2016 - Q3 FAL list
I have only 1 goal for Q3 and that would be finishing this beauty.
I picked up the top from local quiliting superstar Monika and I was admiring it for about 2 weeks already. You can see more pics of the quilting here on her page.

OMG July
As many I have a long list of things to do. Which one to choose as July OMG goal?
Will I even have time to complete it? With our schedule on mind I choose pouch with green accent. I have already started as you can see on the pic above. It's going to be loo pouch with a loop.
As it'll be gift I'll be making some jewellery to go with it. I have all the material I need.

Q2 - cushion
It seems meeting deadlines is attractive to me again. Here is my second finish for Q2 FAL. You can find my list here. That makes it 2 out of 3.
Binded cushion looks like pretty mini, doesn't it?
But we get more use out of cushion :)
Two cushions are even better. They are both made out of scraps from already shared quilt. I made the first cushion during FAL 2015.

Q2 - DM quilt
Finally I'm sharing finished DM quilt in full. You can find it on my Q2 FAL list here.
I always wanted to do some reflection pics with my quilt so we took it outside.
Thumb up for my quilt holder aka hubby :)
I made this quilt top during Delectable Mountains Blog hop back in 2015. I have added subtle border around the top to prevent loosing some points in binding.
It is partially hand quilted and machine quilted with zig zag stitch. The back is very snuggly and you can read about it here.
Not the best picture of quilt but I had to share it anyway.
Grey + colors in order = my fav combo.
