Monday house

Here we go. The house I started while ago is finished. I'm not so thrilled since it looks a bit out of proportion. The roof is heavy but it still stands up. I kept decorating pretty simple.

I usually don't make the house like straight rectangle but I haven't thought about it while making the crochet strips. Let's call it trial version :) Not sure if there ever will any other version.

I started it as part of Monday Makers which I thought would be nice addition to linky parties. Wouldn't that be nice, start something small every Monday and show off the finish the next one? It would if only I could keep up, lol.

I got the idea of next project from Lucy. It is hardly dangerous to click on links provided on blog posts you read. CLICK HERE to find out what I'm making, LOL.

Houses + August goal

My friend asked me if I can do some House pouches but in boys version. This has been my fav project back in 2012. It is modified version of House pouch from book called Zakka style. You can see few more on my House mania page.

There are some cars, super heroes, bit of blue. I hope they look like boyish, lol.

Anyway, I think I'm a bit better in making girls versions. Flowers and rick rack are just more fun.

This sweet cow is my fav of the bunch.

I have all those fancy embellishments from local shop.

My girls wanted some as well so I might be recreating the one with paw prints and cow. We'll see.

It is also time to pick up my August goal fo ALYoF. Well, there is one that has to be done. The Ballerinas quilt. My girl is going to turn 8 in September and I better be done by the time. I missed my deadline last year so I added one more house and I really need to finish it.
