Elephant parade

Have you seen the elephants everywhere? Oh yes, there is Elephant parade QAL and you don't want to miss it!

Sew Fresh Quilts

I'm going scrappy. I knew I wanted to make some elephants. I love grey but my daughter not so much so she asked me to do them colorful instead.

I used these batiks in number of projects last year and there are only last few bits. Probably just enough for an A side of bed side wall hanging.

Once you have all the pieces cut, the piecing goes pretty quickly.

That is mom and dad plus the baby elephants.

I'm feeling pretty well making these blocks on time so here comes little challenge. Am I going to be able to use those tiny bits for something? Stay tuned!

  21. Multicolored elephants is a nice variation on the pattern. You'll have a challenge to make the bird and frog etc stand out, though. I'll bet you have a plan for those bonus triangles. I love finding ways to use them. Visiting from Oh Scrap!
