Finally I'm sharing finished DM quilt in full. You can find it on my Q2 FAL list here.
I always wanted to do some reflection pics with my quilt so we took it outside.
Thumb up for my quilt holder aka hubby :)
I made this quilt top during Delectable Mountains Blog hop back in 2015. I have added subtle border around the top to prevent loosing some points in binding.
It is partially hand quilted and machine quilted with zig zag stitch. The back is very snuggly and you can read about it here.
Not the best picture of quilt but I had to share it anyway.
Grey + colors in order = my fav combo.
Linking up with finish it up Friday:
What a beautiful quilt. So elegant but warm and vibrant. You certainly live in a beautiful part of the world too!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is so beautiful, Vera, and I love how glassy smooth the water is for the reflection photos. :)

Vera, this quilt is beautiful. I got a little nervous seeing it hanging over the bridge. I love the reflections.
ReplyDeleteYour hubby is a very good helper. I know you gave him a cookie for his efforts.
Love Rosemary

Congratulations! Well done on finishing a beautiful quilt. I really like the placement of the blocks in a diamond. I also love it when someone takes a quilt on a walk. You made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the FAL hosts, thanks for playing along!
Gorgeous. Love the variety of background you used and the photo shoot is spectacular
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!

ReplyDeleteLove,Love, Love your quilt and the photos too. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing photography of your work.... The third photo should be in a magazine.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finish, Vera - I love the photo shoot!
ReplyDeleteWell firstly the quilt is gorgeous but then oh WOW the reflection pictures - they are stunning in their own right - what a lovely way to celebrate the finish of such an awesome quilt!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo shoot location for a gorgeous quilt. I am gong to have to find some water for future quilts!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful scenery. I love the distance shots. They might not be the best of the quilt, but they show the pattern differently. The quilt really seems to glow or radiate outwards from the light grey and yellow centre.
