Q2 - plus cushion

This cushion cover was on my list since Q4 2016.
Finally I have completed it. You can find my Q2 list here.

I have started this project almost a year ago. Inspired by Paige and her "Positively transparent". I worked with the idea of primary and secondary colors.

The quilting is pretty dense which is cool but not very comfy to lie on. It'll probably be only decorative cushion. Maybe it'll soften up once washed. I haven't washed it yet.

Back side is plain. I like simple hidden zipper.

Everything outside is pretty green. Happy Easter!

  1. Whoa! This is really lovely! What amazing stitching!

  2. Vera, this is just lovely. You are so neat and tidy.
I love the pillow, and I do love the work on the Ikea fabric as well

  3. I am so excited to see this finish! I love how you took Paige's idea and expanded on it to fit your style.

  4. That's a great looking pillow. Love all the quilting in different colors.

  5. Nice job on your pillow. I absolutely LOVE what you did with the quilting!!

  6. I have GOT to try out that dense colourful quilting - when I see yours I want to grab the item and walk around, carrying it like a trophy, lol. If this was Facebook and if I did Facebook (I don't :D) I would put a big old LIKE on it!

  7. The coloured lines of quilting really make this cushion special, Vera. I love it! (I am sure it will soften up a bit over time.)

  8. beautiful cushion, I need some for my garden, this will start me thinking. I love your ikea inner lining fabric too.

  9. It's fantastic! Your quilting is stunning!
