Le challenge - Scraptastic Direction

Remember those scraps from Elephant parade? One was just right for this month's Le Challenge - Direction theme. It would be too big for mug rug but just right to cover up paper tin which resulted into pencil holder :)

The size was really just right.

Here is spot where the geese meet. Cool!

I also quilted other two fused pieces and this will become mug rug.

Side A.

Side B.

Matchstick quilting is just perfect for these small projects and raw edge scraps. Don't forget to link up with Scraptastic Tuesday too.

I'm also linking up with Finish it up Friday!

  5. Great makes. My off cuts normally end up as mug rugs or windowsill runners. I love making up something quick and useful

  8. I like the pen holder, and how amazing that the geese line up perfectly. That will look great on your desk.
I wonder whether a bit more interfacing might mean it could stand on its own.

  11. Nice job matching your points, and great matchstick quilting! I like doing a similar design (mine isn't quite as dense as yours because I'm lazy :D) - I call it organic quilting so a little wobbliness is encouraged - and I definitely do wobbly well, lol!

  14. Such lovely projects. Love the scale of them. Inspired me to try something on a much smaller scale than a quilt!
