Le Challenge - round
Here is my project for Le Challenge. The theme is ROUND. I cut up 4 circle scraps and made two pouches. Similar but different.
Which one do you like better? Circles and anyhow quilting or the more organized lines on right?
I like both. It's always fun to explore more than just one idea.
Here is the other side. Don't you like the effect of warm side and cool side. I do.
I have also tried something new. I glued leather scrap to the zipper end. Hopefully it'll last :) If not, I'll add few stitches.
Color accent on zipper pull is another thing that I like.
Since I used scraps for my pouches I'm also linking up with Scraptastic Tuesday and Oh Scrap!

Nicely done! I do like the warm and cool sides. I have never seen a grey zipper with a red pull before. Adding the ribbon is something I do too, to make the zipper easier to grab. I like that you used the excess zipper as a handle, very clever.
ReplyDeleteYour pouches are beautiful! I love the quilting and pops of colors!

You are the best at making creative pouches. Thanks for sharing these with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteI like both quilting designs - I love the echo quilting, but the organic straight line quilting makes the half circles look like jellyfish - awesome! Great bags, Vera - no surprise there :)
ReplyDeleteGreat project. Love the colors, the warm/cool colors, the quilting, everything. I like both of the quilting designs, and hope to recreate this look more successfully in the future. Thank you for letting me know about lechallenge. I hadn't heard about it before.
ReplyDeleteI really tried to pick a favorite but I can't. I like them both!
ReplyDeleteVery nice pouches, sturdy and elegant! A great combo!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting for both of them is wonderful Vera! I love those colors against the background - both the warm and the cool show off very well!
ReplyDeleteFun purses, I like the zipper coming off one side to make the handle, very clever and efficient! cheers!
ReplyDeleteFantastic pouches as always, I like both, they each have something really fun to admire.
ReplyDeleteI like both! One makes me think of planets, and the other reminds me of jellyfish.
ReplyDeleteI also like both versions. What fun to see such a successful project!
ReplyDeleteI love these pouches! The curves and the quilting are just awesome!
