I read on
Heidi's blog about travel bags. Well originally it's
lunch box by Ayumi but it's perfect for any purpose. The girls really do love it and so do I. It's easy to make and so cute and pretty. I have two girls so I need to make at least one more. I cut the body of the bag as one piece since I use the same fabric for front and back.
Plus I made another bucket hat as MiniMe only wants to wear this one and the one I made last year is not hers. She just loves everything her big sister has.

That is a gorgeous bag. The strawberries and polka dots make it so fresh and summery.

Your bags and pouches are always so crisply finished, I love it. Do you use any starch on your fabrics before beginning your projects?
