Sunday stash

I don't get to participate in Sunday stash very often but you might be interested to see what I got at the quilt show.

Visiting my friend at the show also meant and exchange of Bday presents (fabrics). I always wanted some Echino and finally I have some thanks to my generous friend.

I always admired bags made out of Echino. I knew I wanted that elephant so I asked my friend for it. Yes I'm that kind of girl. I rather tell what I want than receive something I don't fancy :-) She's also an Aries so she understands my kind of personality.

Love it!

I'm also in love with those circles and butterflies and that lady bug. I need to get some matchy zippers for my bag :-) I was showing my new treasures to my family as they visited us yesterday and they were like: these fabrics look old and kind of badly washed. Oh well. All I could do was just laugh.

What else did I get at the show? I haven't used the fabrics I got there last year so I was not going to buy anything without a plan in mind. So I got one piece for my triangle quilt. I needed new needles and extra thin velcro and few cute charms without a reason. That's it!

I admit it. I'm not a real quilter and fabric hoarder. Of course the range and prices are different here (around 13$ per yard) and I would probably change my mind if I had good quilt shop nearby. I also have to take my limited storage space into consideration. Plus I got some non quilty stuff instead :-) You know wardrobe need an update with the spring and fabrics are not my priority.

You probably figured out I had Bday recently. April 3rd to be precise and I got an unexpected addition for my photography adventure. Yes, tripod! That should count into stash as well :-)

  13. I'm a bit late but I'd like to wish you Happy Birthday! Great present and love the fabric you've bought. Fabric there still costs nearly half what it costs here in Italy... maybe I should plan a trip!
