August goal

For a moment I thought I keep my designer's wall empty. It didn't last too long. At first I added some triangles in perfect OCD arrangement. Than those Christmas flying geese jumped on board.

This is where I'm at. My grey/bright obsession is still going strong so I choose my cushion cover as my August goal for ALYoF.

Plus here is little experiment.

I took little scraps and cut them up into tiny pieces.

I put them on piece of interfacing and iron it.

All squished and ready for the next stage.

  2. I had to come see what you were up with with those minced scraps. From the photo I wondered if you'd photographed chopped peppers and onions. I guess I'll have to come back to find the next step!

I like your brights with grey. The grey makes the brights even brighter.

  10. I read your (Aug. 5) post before this one - I kept looking at the first photo and couldn't understand what I was seeing, lol. I had this post open in my browser but hadn't read it yet - I started reading at the wrong end and thought I was Lost in Space! Now the other blog post makes more sense to my poor addled brain - what a cool technique - the finished project is going to be a blast!
