Selvage along - how is it going?
Not too well as the whole Europe suffers from massive heat wave. Our outdoor blinds are down and it feels like living in the cellar. Unfortunately not the wine-cellar which would probably be much cooler. Most of the days my brain is partially cooked so there is no space for sewing in it :)
Anyway I finally settled on fabrics which I'm going to use for my selvage bag. Progress made!
Plus quick side track project. Almost done :)
And my experiment needs B side so why not use some more selvages. Yeah!
See all the inspiration others have shared already> Selvage Along mid way check in.

I am looking forward to your tutorial, Vera! :)
ReplyDeleteWoot! Yes to the B side. Always the answer is more selvages. :) That Art Gallery color scheme you have going on is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletelooking forward to seeing the end of result. We have had a pretty awful summer, loads of rain. Enough to chase you to the wine cellar!
ReplyDeleteOh yay! I'm all about using selvages on the B side too! Looking forward to seeing what you make out of these!
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing this post, I almost feel guilty about throwing selvages away! I said almost! ;) I can't wait to see the awesomeness that comes from your selvages!
ReplyDeleteI never keep salvages - maybe I should seeing this. We had rain last night - hoorah! And maybe more today.
ReplyDeleteWell Vera, We have air conditioning here.
ReplyDeleteIt is hot, and I hate hot weather sooo much
Can you stay in a hotel? You could bring your sewing and live it up in air conditioning.... right?
Oh my. I hope it cools off.
I am saving my selvages, I am a load of them from so many years
Looking forward to your progress, love the color palette!
ReplyDeleteEven with A/C, we've had our blinds closed most of the summer - hot hot hot and way more humid than most years. No basement, but a wine cellar sure sounds good.
I made something with selvedges yesterday! It was too late to take photos when I finished, but I will try to later today.
