The two sides go really well together. There are few fabrics that don't seem to fit but I'm learning to look at it as a whole. Not picking up on unmatching bits. I kind of tend to put the blues to the bottom.
But it looks just fine the other way round as well. The B side is bigger for the quilting purposes. It's going to the quilting pro and I'll share the outcome once available.
I took a picture of wavy binding I wrote about in my previous post. Not flat at all. Once I add the wood to the bottom with additonal weight it looks fine and have you noticed our wall is all white by now :-) It looks much better. If you missed my advent calendar post, check it out here.

That backing is amazing! Wow, this quilt is already so awesome. I can't wait to see what the quilting adds! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the back. It's coming together. I am glad the the hurricane passed you by without trouble. We have been lucky this year on my side of the world.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful front and back! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove it all! It's amazing!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful on both sides! And I love the flecks of blue towards the top, they add great visual interest. Well done, I can't wait to see it come back all quilted!
ReplyDeleteI love the jelly roll quilt and the broken herringbone is fabulous too!
ReplyDeleteThis will be an amazing quilt, back and front Vera!
ReplyDeleteLoving all those pretty colors together. Looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great work you have done!
ReplyDeleteVera, I love your star! Good to know about the weight -- will be giving that a try on one of mine. Your B side is looking fabulous -- I love the colour flow!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! The B side is just as lovely as the A side :)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of the two different pieced sides to the quilt! It looks really great. I am adding the idea to my list of 'to-do's'! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the quilt is going to be stellar.
ReplyDeleteLove that you have a B side! My backings usually don't have much of interest!
ReplyDeleteB Side is quite a nice addition to the fantastic front! Awesome job! Your star quilt wall hanging is quite lovely. I have one hanging on the wall that has some wave to it too! I probably should weigh it down as well.
ReplyDeleteYour B side is a fitting tribute to that fabulous A side, Vera. Can't wait to see it all quilted up. I love what you have done with those broken herringbone blocks!
ReplyDeleteLove. This.
