As you probably noticed I decided to join the 2015 Pantone Quilt Challenge.
I finished the quilting this afternoon. I kept it simple. Just a few lines and little play in one center hexagon.
I ran out of day light, watched movie and fell asleep but there are still few hours left to link up.
I made a cushion cover. Something useful and pretty.
I kept the back side extra simple.
I actually put this on my Q2 FAL list so it's time to tick it off. Yay!
Since it is still Friday I'll link up with Finish it up Friday and others:

A tricky colour to use but you have made a lovely job of it with the different tones as well as the contrasting colours. Looks cool!
ReplyDeleteWOW I can't believe you got the pillow done already - sometimes I sit on projects so long that they grow grey beards! And believe me - that's not a good look for fabric crafts :) The pillow looks great - I like how you turned the hexagon into a square :) I wondered how you were going to do that - my brain couldn't wrap itself around the obvious - getting old has it's evil side :D
ReplyDeleteIt turned out so well, Vera. I find Marsala to be a bit tricky, but I love your interpretation.
ReplyDeleteResult is better then I weit for!
ReplyDelete\Результат лучше, чем я ожидала. Очень красиво, я следила за вашими процессами, это что-то невероятное!
Another great finish for you Vera. Of all the Marsala Challenge projects I've seen I like yours best. The yellow really works in there.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is stunning! I love your Marsala Challenge interpretation! Your touches of quilting and the gold color pop make it really beautiful.

ReplyDeleteVery attractive!
ReplyDeleteIt looks smashing as a cushion cover and the quilting you did is perfect! I think you met the challenge and then some Vera!
ReplyDeleteI love the hexagons in a hexagon pattern and really like your quilting detail. Great job! Thanks for linking up with me for TGIFF.
ReplyDeletethat was quick! and very effective
ReplyDeleteI really like how that turned out! Love the pops of brighter colour in amongst the dark Marsala
ReplyDeleteWay to make marsala look fantastic! I love the yellow and white you paired it with, and the quilting is a fun touch. :)
ReplyDeleteIt makes me think of a cosy chair with a book by the fire. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing this beauty in the challenge. I love it! I'm helping Adrianne with the FAL and I'm to also say that I am visiting as part of the FAL Cheerleading Team.
