Well back to the challenge. That was a bit detour. I went through my beads and picked up those that fit the theme Toffee. Don't you think those tiger eye crystal chips look just right? So yeah. That's my project for the Le Challenge.
At least I took a picture with the pouch to be and the new necklace I made. They match pretty well.
Do you think the Le Challenge button just fits the theme as well? Or is it just me :-)
UPDATE: Brother
came home earlier than expected. He sneaked in during nap time, begging me to
give him test ride. So I did. I rather finished the pouch right away otherwise
it would become UFO. The front is little wonky so let’s call it true sign of
negligent style.

You are a zipper pouch and embellishing GODDESS, Vera - that toffee - I mean that bag!! - is gorgeous, and the necklace and earrings are a perfect match! I'd say you definitely nailed the Le Challenge :D
ReplyDeleteBTW - your Singer is likely a standard low shank machine, so any low shank zipper foot should fit it. If you still have your foot attachments for the Brother at home with you, try the zipper foot from the B on the S --- I bet it'll work fine - I change mine around all the time. Did you try taking the bobbin case out of the Singer and clean out the lintbunnies that collect? That might help it run a bit better - try changing the needle too - sometimes they get a bit of a burr or nick or they bend just a touch, and it really affects stitching. I admit that I've thrown out a couple of inexpensive machines that basic home maintenance didn't help - a tune-up would have cost more than the machine!

ReplyDeleteI love your jewelry and the pouch is really awesome! I two have a second older machine and it is hard to switch after using the great machine! Fortunately both use the same feet or I would be up a creek!
